LED power supply VS LED driver
Time:2021-03-26 / Read:583In the past, an AC-DC power supply that provided a stable "constant voltage" to the LED was called an LED power supply. Conventional AC-DC power supplies and DC-DC converters provide a regulated output to provide a "constant voltage." However, through the "constant current" driver, the LED can work most efficiently and safely.
LED driver and LED power supply are almost interchangeable terms in LED lighting. The LED power supply is designed to drive LEDs to work stably. Vice versa, the LED driver can be regarded as an independent power supply, including the power supply and LED control circuit to generate an output that matches the electrical characteristics of the LED package (component) or LED array (module).
